Isocheck Isowave 23 for Ceilings

The Isowave 23 is used for acoustic treatment where the burden of performance can only be achieved beneath the floor. 

When incorporated within a floor construction with Isocheck Isoblock & Isobar, Isowave 23 will achieve ½ hour fire protection.

The Isowave 23 Acoustic Ceiling System is used to enhance a ceiling that is found to under perform or to provide a high performance ceiling commonly used in home cinemas/studios.

Also in situations where commercial activities adjoin a dwelling above or for upgrading separating floors/ceilings where access to the top of the floor is not possible.

This product incorporates acoustic foam which is semi rigid and is an excellent absorber with high damping characteristics when bonded to an acoustically reflective stiff surface. 

It consists of a 10mm Isowave acoustic foam measured to BS 4443 and BS EN ISO 845:2009 bonded to 12.5mm high density, square edged fibre-reinforced gypsum board.

Dimensions:

Isocheck Isowave 23 size = 1197 x 597 x 22.5mm (0.72m2 board coverage) which can compress in proximity to the metal Isobars to 14mm.

Applications:

• Most suitable for treating Conversions (described as change of use within Approved Document E) 
• Most suitable for treating New Build (masonry, timber or steel frame) 
• Most suitable for treating Refurbishments 

Pre Completion Testing/ Robust Details:

• Suitable for E1 New Build applications 
• Suitable for E1 Change of Use applications  

Not subject to Pre Completion Testing:

• Suitable for Domestic Noise applications and vibration issues (where stated)
